First things first, we need you to understand that YOU are the most important part of this company.  The sales force is the life blood of any company and vital to its growth and survival--that is why your role is so important.  We understand that if you are not successful, we are not successful so we go to great lengths to ensure you reach your goals and achieve your full potential.
We have training resources available that will help you succeed.  Please take time to review the online sales script, study the training information, and listen to our audio clips of pre-recorded sales conversations.  The more familiar you become with our service, the better you will perform as an independent sales rep.
Background and Vision
Pest-X started in May of 2005 in Phoenix, AZ and was created with the vision of providing the best all around pest control service at an affordable rate. Our Service
Pest control is quickly becoming one of the most vital and necessary home services.  For most homeowners, their family and property are their most valued possessions.  These homeowners know that insects, spiders, and rodents can be very unsightly, destructive, and extremely dangerous.  For example, termites and other wood boring insects can cause costly repairs to homes and furniture.  Cockroaches, mosquitoes, and mice are unsanitary and carriers of many infectious diseases.  Spiders, like the black widow and brown recluse and many types of scorpions, can sting and bite with life threatening venom.  No homeowner wants these unwanted pests lurking in and around their property, so most either hire a pest control service or try to handle pest problems on their own.  However, what most homeowners don’t know is that there is a huge difference in the way we treat pests compared to all other companies and traditional over the counter products.
Unlike most conventional pest control services and over the counter pesticides that treat unwanted pests after they surface, we focus on proactive pest prevention to eliminate pest problems before they even begin—after all, if you wait until pests begin to surface, it’s already too late.
As an independent sales rep, you will help customers understand that they should not settle for ineffective services, expensive one shot treatments or mediocre over the counter pest control products.  You will help them understand the superiority of our products and the effectiveness of a regular pest control service with the absolute best warranty in the industry.  You are not merely providing another home service, but rather the peace of mind of knowing that our customers’ homes and families are safe and secure all year round.  Our year-round, bi-monthly pest control service guarantees that our customers will be void of any pest problems and be 100% satisfied with our work or we will service their home for free until such problems are brought back under control.

Your Role
As an independent sales rep, your role is to schedule the initial pest control service for first time customers.  You will contact potential customers by phone and explain the details of our service.  Once the customer agrees to receive our service, you will schedule their appointment via our online database.

Pay
Unlike most jobs where you are paid once for your efforts, at Responsible Pest Control you will continue to enjoy the fruits of your labors long after your initial sale was made.  This type of payment is called “residual commission” and is broken down the following way:
You are paid $20 for each customer’s initial service and then $10 for each and every regular service he/she receives thereafter.  Since many home owners continue to use our services for years and years, you will continue to earn a residual commission each time we service their home.  We believe in the old saying that you reap what you sow, and we know that if you work hard now to plant seeds of good, solid customers then you will continue to enjoy lush, residual growth that continues to pay out long after your initial effort has passed. The following chart shows residual income for one new customer.  There is no limit to how many residual paying accounts you may earn.

Pay dates – Pay dates are the 5th and the 20th of every month.  All accounts serviced between the 1st-15th of each month are paid on the 20th of that month.  All accounts serviced between the 16th and the 31st (or last day of the month) are paid on the 5th of the following month.
Bonuses
In addition to your regular pay, incentive bonuses will also be added from time to time to motivate and inspire production – you will receive these notices via email.
